Excellent bag! Very useful. Very well made. I use it for travel when I don't have to haul my work 15 inch MacBook Pro laptop around. I was looking for something smaller that fits under airplane seats: this bag easily fits under MD 80 aisle and window seats which can be too small for a full size laptop bag. As far as size goes, it does fit my 13 inch MacBook Air perfectly. Plenty of room for a cell phone, a Kindle, energy bars, emergency essentials, and whatever. Others have commented negatively about the velcro and molle around the bag. I love them. Because the water bottle pockets on the sides are narrow and limit your bottle choices, I've attached two 5.11 H2O carriers on the sides and it looks like they are designed to go on this bag. I've also attached two Maxpedition TC-3 pouches on the front flap for eye glasses and stuff. With these attachments, I've never been accused of carrying a man-purse. Perfect bag for a light-weight go-bag when you realistically can't haul all your go-bag stuff with you, like when traveling by air. Lots of padding for protection of your stuff. Lots of interior pockets. The concealed carry pocket on the back is also very well designed: plenty of room for my 1911 and allows quick access. Others have commented negatively about the velcro on the inside of the concealed carry pocket. I agreed at first, but after using the bag for awhile, 5.11 did the right thing by including the velcro: if the zipper is open and you trip, or something, the weapon will be secure. I highly recommend this bag.

The Bag that Wouldn't Die
I'm a teacher. Now, you may think that a person writing a review for the 5.11 Tactical Rush Delivery Lima Bag should say something like "I'm in Special Forces" or "I'm a career military officer on deployment in the most dangerous combat zones in the world" or something like that. That certainly is 5.11's target audience, or at least the image wannabes aspire to. But, any teacher will tell you that we put a bag through 5 times the punishment of any other profession: over-stuffing a bag with laptops, books and notebooks, dryerase markers, several pairs of glasses, water bottles, snacks, keys, wallet, toiletries, adapters and dongles, staplers erasers pens glue, and that's just the shortlist. And we carry a bag like this on our backs on bicycles, in cars, on busses, on planes, across time zones, running late into classrooms and then stuffing everything back into it to run late for the next class. The 5.11 Tactical Rush Delivery Lima Bag has been my remote office every single day through teacher hell, plus plus a sort of permanent 'bug-out bag', with every conceivable essential for surviving every possible situation (within reason!: it's not quite the zombie apocalypse, yet). This bag has been with me through it all since 2013 and the only sign of wear is that the grippy rubber stuff on the shoulder pad has worn away. Not one single pocket or zipper or anything has broken or worn out. The bag simply can not be killed. I would love to justify getting a new one, but the one I have shows no signs of wear. I buy 5.11 gear because it is extremely well designed from a pragmatic pov: I love the functionality of their products, and the fact that they just last and last. This bag is no exception, and I expect it to last many more years of daily teaching punishment, if we ever get back to the classroom again.
