I bought this bag for law school and an expectation that I will need to carry a bunch of heavy books. I had tried other rolling backpacks but they were too small. This bag is large and fits my 17" laptop. The laptop sleeve is in the middle of the pack instead of the back, which is taking some getting used to, but works well. There is also a tablet sleeve. I was concerned about not having mesh pockets on the sides for water bottles but have since figured out that I can fit two 16.9oz water bottles in the mesh pocket on the front. Also, I can fit a 16.9 oz water bottle in the side pockets by the wheels if I angle the bottle properly. The backpack's compartments are large and the zippers seem sturdy. The backpack straps hide away in a pocket. The pocket that contains the straps folds down and velcros to the bottom of the bag, which not only provides you protection from the wheels while you are wearing it, but also provides a little cushion from the hard plastic going across the small of your back. Other bags don't provide that, so this won me over. Also, I had read a different review that someone had trouble putting the bag in the overhead bin on a plane. I had no issue fitting it on the overhead bin on a typical Boeing 737. I even experimented and was able to fit it under the seat on my flight....which is nice in case its full of heavy books and I can't lift it up into the overhead bin. I know all planes are different and it could be more of a challenge on smaller planes. So at first I wasn't sure that this bag would work, but it keeps proving itself. The only downsides I have found are that the handle seems a bit flimsy, but I guess that helps keep it lightweight. Also, the straps are rather thin, so I see myself only using them if I am in a situation where I can't roll the bag. I am glad I took a chance on this bag.

Rolling with the Baggage
Sooo……this bag is really awesome!!!This is why I love it:1. It carries [amongst other stuff] all my electronics; a portable HP U160 monitor, iPad, Lenovo Yoga2, and two bricks disguised as laptops.2. Conversion between laptop and wheeled baggage is quick and easy.3. Very well constructed.Room for Improvement:1. More padding between compartment dividers and bottom of bag2. More internal pockets for stuffThis bag is large, not so much wide as it is tall, so I was initially worried after it was delivered of it being able to fit under the seats of the CRJ-700’s that I fly frequently. Because of the hard bottom of the bag used to anchor the wheels, it will not fit in the overhead bins that are roughly 10 inches tall. If you are on the Embraer models or larger, overhead carry on space will not be an issue.So in short, I was able to fit the bag under the seat, top end first, under the coach seat in front of me. Caveat, I did need to lift the top end above the carry on limit bar that is under the seat in front of me to get the bag in just a little bit further. But it worked. So if flying first class, the seats are different with more room available.In summary. If you travel a lot, and have a lot of baggage, get this bag.

I LOVE this bag!! I am the type of person to extensively review things before purchasing anything. This bag is incredibly sturdy and built well with thick material. It is HUGE (in a good way) with tons of pockets for organization. As a nursing student it, I carry a lot of HUGE textbooks and they all fit well in this bag with room to spare! The bag does not tip (see video) and is not top-heavy. Both the cushioned handle on the top of the bag and the telescope handle are cushioned, comfy, and durable. When wearing the backpack with the straps, it is surprisingly very comfortable as well. It is hard to find a bag that rolls nicely and is comfy to wear. My only complaint is that the pocket where the handle telescopes from is missing a tooth on the zipper so I'm worried that eventually it will stop working. Other than that, I'm INCREDIBLY happy with this purchase.
