After having the opportunity to join some friends on Quail hunts in Arizona and Texas it became clear that in hotter climates, or on hunts where many miles were covered on foot, it was worth trading some of the ballistic strength for flexibility and breathability. That's where the idea for the Active+ Field Pants came from - the perfect blend of comfort and performance while still retaining best-in-class abrasion and puncture resistance in key areas. These pants have been field tested in the cactus and thorn rich environments of southern Arizona and have proven their ability to protect from cuts and scrapes while still being flexible and breathable.
