I recently purchased the largest size I think its 40 liters, but in Olive Green and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The bag is incredibly comfortable to wear, even when it's fully loaded with gear. The padded straps and back panel make it easy to carry for long periods of time without any discomfort. The pockets and organization within the bag are fantastic. The ample space and numerous pockets make it easy to keep all of my gear organized and accessible. I especially appreciate the MOLLE system, which allows me to easily add additional pouches and accessories to the bag. The color is also a huge selling point for me. The olive green is a great choice and looks fantastic in any setting, whether I'm out on a hike or running errands around town. Overall, this bag is top-notch in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a high-quality, comfortable, and well-organized tactical bag.

Versatile pack for hiking and travel

FHIOR has a great clamshell concept for their 40l and 30l packs. I purchased both sizes and have used them for hiking and travel finding them ample and comfortable. Both are versatile with zippers in the right places for accessing the contents without having to mess up everything inside. The 40l has additional top and bottom compartments through which the main compartment can be accessed.

For travel, the 30l complies with size requirements to fit beneath seats. The 40l is soft enough to compact the two inches needed to fit in overhead bins. Had no trouble taking these on several international flights. Folding the lower straps around the back and securing them there help keep them out of the way while carrying via a loop at top center.

The photos may give the impression that the clamshell is semi-rigid and self-supporting which definitely isn't the case. The pack is dernier polyester fabric and is shipped flat. It comes to life as it gets filled with items. The packs are also a bit wider at the top, tapering toward the bottom.

This is a medium-duty pack (definitely not military grade). Biggest gripes I share with others is that the lower bolsters, zippers, clips and straps could all be bigger and more robust. The zippers tend to bind on themselves and catch light clothes. All can be tough to manipulate with gloved hands.

I've purchased five packs. Black was not available for my first order. I purchased dark-gray (which appeared black in the photos) and found the actual color more toward olive-drab. The black is what you would expect for black.

Excited to receive my new backpack. I chose the Dark gray for something a little different and am glad I did. Great unique neutral color. The backpack is lightweight but very durable and well-constructed. Shoulder straps are padded and adjustable. There are multiple pockets and zipper compartments on the exterior. The zipper pull loops are such that they are easy to use while wearing gloves or bare hands. The inside main compartment is open and roomy with additional small pockets and zipper compartments. I see this backpack as useable as a travel carry-on, hunting, or hiking. Great value !!

Pockets galore! I travel a lot; however, I do not like people to know whether it's work or pleasure and this enables me to do just that. I managed to place a week's worth of clothes including two suits, 5 shirts, a laptop, etc in there with plenty of room to spare for an upcoming work trip that I will be taking as a carry-on. While there, this bag will double as my day bag for sightseeing and day hikes with the family. The two pockets in the front are the perfect size to keep wallets, phones, candy, battery packs, cameras, passport (when abroad), etc.

For those fellow combat veterans like myself, this bag is pretty good in this civilian society. Has that tactical feel without raising too much suspicion to help me blend in. Back to the bag though…I’m in favor of the strap Velcro tiedowns, the front opening, top/bottom, side and the waist compartments. Zippers are easy flow. I took the liberty to burn off all the loose strings in and out of the pack with a Bic lighter. Good to go!

I’m ex military and prefer tactical products when I have the option. I had heard about this Scottish brand FHIOR but hadn’t used any of their backpacks before. This bag looks awesome, I took it on a one day hike to test before a 3 day hike I have coming up. It fits all my gear and is super comfortable with over 15kg of weight in there!

Straps are adjustable which is great because I want my son to use it too.
